In practice

Four principles,
plainly put.

We start with the business

From start-ups to publicly listed companies, we engage and work with individuals and businesses in all sectors — on local, national and international matters.

We write so it can be understood

We are experienced in documenting major projects and providing strategic advice. Even the most complex deal can be documented in terms that are easily understood.

We would rather prevent than cure

Our commercial expertise allows us to identify problems which may give rise to disputes in the future, and to advise on how best to avoid them.

We resolve without protracted litigation where we can

Where disputes do arise, our strength is strategic advice on how to navigate them and achieve sound commercial outcomes — including through mediation, expert determination and arbitration.
